IMPORTANT NEWS & NOTICES

Arc Membership Input Requested

The Arc's Board of Directors works continually to keep our governing documents consistent with current terminology and reflective of the agency's priorities, services, and needs for the future.

Recent changes have been made to Constitution and Bylaws to that end, and are presented to the membership below for review and comment. Pending any recommended changes our input, the documents will be presented for adoption at our next meeting of the general membership, as required by our bylaws. We invite you to review these documents, and look forward to any input our membership might offer!

The Arc is a nonprofit organization advocating for the seven million people in America with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy and other diagnoses.

We help people achieve their life goals and become productive members of the community by creating opportunities for education, employment, housing and recreation and providing them the necessary supports through a network of more than 700 chapters across the nation.

We’re changing public attitudes and fostering respect, access and inclusion.
